The cliff mine siding area has a lot of
interesting areas. One in particular is has been revealed by a landslide by
Hurricane Ivan. The side of a refuse pile has revealed old timbers. Perhaps
it is from an old mine tipple. There are concrete supports still in the
water directly across from the the old works.
